Mr. Onajite Okoloko - Chairman
Mr. Onajite Okoloko is a Nigerian entrepreneur with extensive experience in the oil and gas and industrial sectors. He is the founder and former Chairman of Midwestern Oil & Gas Nigeria Limited and Eroton Exploration & Production. Midwestern is Nigeria’s largest marginal oil field producer, while Eroton owns and operates over 1,035 square kilometers of oil mining lease area in the Niger Delta, with an estimated 500 million barrels of 2P reserves and over 5 trillion cubic feet of gas.
He is also the founder and pioneer Group Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Notore Chemical Industries, where he served from January 2006 to January 2021. Notore is an agro-allied chemicals and infrastructure company and the premier producer of urea fertilizer in Sub-Saharan Africa.
Mr. Okoloko is an active member of the Nigerian Economic Summit Group and has served on several national policy and advisory bodies, including the National Technical Working Group for Nigeria’s Vision Agricultural Transformation Implementation Council and the Human Capital and Innovation Capacity Building Working Group of the National Competitiveness Council of Nigeria.
He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics from the University of Benin (1986) and is an alumnus of Harvard Business School. In 2011, he was named the inaugural winner of the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year Award (Emerging Entrepreneur Category, West Africa).
Mr. Brume Okoloko - Director
Mr. Brume Okoloko is the Managing Director of DEL Waste Management Company, an environmental and integrated waste management services provider to the oil and gas industry.
He has over 26 years of experience across the oil and gas and environmental services value chain. His professional background includes corporate strategy development, operational restructuring, infrastructure design, financial restructuring, and process reengineering aimed at improving efficiency and profitability.
Mr. Okoloko has served as a board-level consultant and advisor to investors, senior executives, and board members of key industry players. He has previously sat on the board of Eroton Exploration and Production Company Ltd and is also a Director of Oilflow Global Energy Ltd, an indigenous wells construction services company.
He holds a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Zoology from the University of Benin and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Aston University, Birmingham, United Kingdom. He has also attended several executive training programs in petroleum trading, product pricing, logistics management, and strategic thinking.
Engr. Charles Odita - Director
Engr. Charles Odita holds a First Class Honours Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng.) degree (1984) and a Master of Engineering (M.Eng.) degree (1987) in Chemical Engineering from the University of Benin.
He worked with Shell Petroleum Development Company of Nigeria Limited (SPDC) from 1988 to 2007 in various roles, including Well Site Petroleum Engineer, Drilling Operations Engineer, Research Engineer, Project Engineer, Senior Well Engineer, and Head of Corporate Wells Planning. During this period, he also had four years of international postings with Nederlandse Aardolie Maatschappij (NAM) in Assen and Shell Research in Rijswijk, Netherlands.
From 2007 to 2014, he worked at Notore Chemical Industries Ltd, serving as Group Chief Technical Officer and later Group Chief Operating Officer. Between 2014 and 2020, he was the Group Managing Director/CEO of Midwestern Oil and Gas Company Limited.
Engr. Odita is a Chartered Engineer registered with COREN, a member of the Society of Petroleum Engineers (SPE), a Fellow of the Nigerian Society of Chemical Engineers and the Nigerian Society of Engineers, a Chartered Engineer of the British Engineering Council, and a Member of the Institute of Directors. He is an alumnus of the Advanced Management Program (AMP) of Harvard Business School. He currently consults in the oil and gas industry and serves on the boards of several companies.
Ms. Francesca Ufuoma Agege - Director
Ms. Francesca Omo-Agege is a public affairs and strategic partnerships professional with experience across technology, policy, and emerging markets. She currently serves as Director of Strategic Initiatives at TalentUp Africa, a workforce development company focused on helping global firms source, train, and retain talent from across the African continent.
